Kate came to Fairweather Law after retiring from what she calls a pinball career. Having gained her Open University degree in technology and psychology, she put this and previous experience to use as a lecturer in engineering systems. She missed the hustle and bustle of university life (though not the commuting) so spends a few hours a week with us, originally on reception but now mostly archiving files. Kate likes this responsibility, which sits well alongside her other activities. She enjoys swimming, gardening and baking, and writes about recipes for an online newspaper. She is vice-chair of her local village hall and runs a monthly get-together for her community.
