Nicola is a family law specialist with over 21 years’ experience helping clients through life’s toughest transitions. Based at our Framlingham office, she supports families nationwide with clear, compassionate advice on divorce, separation, finances and child arrangements.

Nicola holds a Master’s Degree in Family Law and Policy and qualified as a solicitor with a regional firm in 2004. She has served as a Trustee on the Board of Northeast Suffolk Citizens Advice Bureau and has been actively involved with a charity supporting parents in maintaining contact with their children.

Before joining Fairweather Law in July 2025, Nicola lived and worked in New Zealand for five years as a Director for a retirement village operator, dealing with all aspects of compliance under the retirement villages legislation, including representation before the Disputes Panel.

Outside of work, Nicola is a (very) novice sailor and enjoys spending time with her three children and going on countryside walks.
